OUGD406 - Studio Brief 01 - Secret 7



Secret 7” annually takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. Creatives from around the world are invited to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7”. 700 sleeves are exhibited and then sold for £50 per sleeve. Who created the sleeve or which song it’s for remains a mystery until after the sleeves have been sold - 'the secret lies within.'

Now in its fifth year, In 2016 Secret 7 are supporting Amnesty International - with the proceeds from the sold sleeves to be donated to the charity, who stand up for human rights across the world, 'wherever justice freedom, fairness and truth are denied.'

This year's exhibition, open from the 8th April - 1st May, will be held in Shoreditch, London,  as Secret 7 take residence at Sonos Studio.
