As a result of my Mum being a HSBC employee, today I was able to retrieve information I would have otherwise been unable to find out - including HSBC's ambitions for the future of the company.
The information I gathered here focuses primarily on HSBC's Premier sector and future goals, as of my Mum's role and a Premier Relationship Officer (P.R.O).
HSBC Premier
HSBC Premier is a personalised service, available to qualifying customers of HSBC Bank. The service helps "build, manage and protect" the wealth of its customers, who are given access to a dedicated Relationship Manager, preferential rates and more.
This service used to primarily attract older persons whom had received retirement pensions, however more recently has been inundated with young, successful business professionals coming to HSBC due to its leading services and optimum security.
To qualify for a Premier account, the current terms state that to be eligible a person must have £50,000 in savings and investments or £100,000 salary together with an investment product, mortgage or protection policy.
This sector of the company holds great significance when considering HSBC's aims for the future...
HSBC Future Aims
C.E.O of HSBC UK and Europe Antonio Simones has recently communicated the aims and desires he has for this sector of the HSBC group to all employees, being that he wants the bank to become more "exclusive," and also wants it to be recognised as "The Bank of Choice."
Knowing this information will supply me with an enhanced, more informed view on how to most successfully rebrand the company - reflecting it's future aims in doing so.
