Today Matt and Greg from Leeds-Based studio Only came in to stand in on the day's critiques, proving professional advice and suggestion on how to go forwards with design for screen
I presented my designs of the app pages thus far and the concept behind the app to Matt and a small group of peers.
The overarching feedback that I received was that so far the app appeared stylish, well structured and clean, successfully evidencing influence from the visual language of the original Style Library site.
Matt said he really liked the concept of the app as it was something that he would have thought of but could see a gap in the marked for the augmented reality wallpaper visualiser. The constructive criticism I received was that there needed to be greater contrast/distinction between the selected icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen design in comparison to those that are unselected.
